3rd BAF Speed Dating Event in Campbell, Sunday, November 12 @ 6 PM
The last two were so wild, that it's time to try this one more time! Join us
for BAF's Third Speed Dating event and hold on tight!
It is Sunday evening, November 12th at 6pm at a location in Campbell. It is
easy to get to and has plenty of free parking. If you are interested in
carpooling, let me know. To get the address, you MUST request the Evite from

The cost once again is $15 per person and includes snacks, beer, wine and
non-alcoholic drinks. We do have to pay for the room rental and deposit in
advance, so it is important that you pay when you RSVP or I will not be able to
save your spot. The price jumps to $25 if you register or pay after November
8th. There are no refunds if you change your mind - seriously these things are
accounting nightmares enough as it is!
You can pay by Paypal (click on the icon at the top of the Evite) or by mailing
Julie a check. (Evite has details).
The way it will work this time is that everyone will get a chance to meet
everyone in the room. That is why it is imperative that you are there on time or
it throws the timing of the whole event off. At the end of the event everyone
will receive a list of email addresses of everyone in attendance. These are
addresses that are already on the BAF Yahoo Groups page so we won't be breaching
anybody's confidentiality.

Did I tell you how important it was that you arrive on time? Seriously, trying
to fit someone in the rotation midstream screws things up.

CANCELLED for November Only! Neither group leader can make it this
month - but otherwise, you can count on this monthly meeting!
Confidential support group meeting for people with genital
herpes. If you're new and not quite up to mingling at a social event, this is a
great first step. If you're a veteran, it's a great way to support newcomers and
keep up with the latest information.

BAF Buchanan Fields Golf Club Event in Concord,
Saturday, Nov. 18 @ 10 AM
Bring your clubs, your golfing shoes, gloves, tees, and your special golf
balls to this upcoming BAF Golf Event. Ladies and gentleman are welcome!

Prices (all payable by golfer joining event): $12.50 for round of golf $10
for golf cart rental + $10 deposit $3 for walking bag cart + $2 deposit Plus
whatever money you want to spend on the driving range and for food/drink.
Once people start RSVP'g, I will set the tee times and make groups of 4.
Since I don't know how many will be participating, I have not made the
reservations yet. Buchanan Fields just needs a 1 week notice. Please RSVP to

I will email those who rsvp with my cell phone and further details (and
details I've forgotten) such as how to find me. (I think a blue balloon attached
to my golf bag will fetch me a few looks)

BAF Pajama Party in Redwood City, Saturday, November

Hello My Bay Area Friends!!! Lets TALK, EAT, DANCE, DRINK, SOAK, and LAUGH!!
Dress Code: Pajama's ~ Compliance is mandatory No "I sleep in
sweats"... or "my birthday suit"... Go buy some PJs!!!
Bring:
- Your favorite tasty beverage
- $5 fun fee (exact change appreciated)
- Your favorite bed time snack to share (In a disposable container please and No Chips thank you!)
- Your fellow Bay Area Friends
- Your favorite bed time toy
- Your dancing feet
- Bathing suit, (or not) for the hot tub
- A designated driver, or your sleeping bag if you need/want to spend the night (I have a lots of room, carpeted floors, and a back yard in which 4-5 small tents
will fit.)
