Beach Party in Santa Cruz, Saturday, August 18 - Noon - ?

Join us for the annual BAF Santa Cruz beach party! It gets underway at around noon. We will be at Seacliff beach - Take the State Park exit off of Hwy 1 S and drive towards the beach! We will have blue balloons.

So - noon at the beach. You are responsible for bringing your own food and drink. We will have beach games and reserve a nice large area so we can all hang out.

At around 6-7pm we will all walk up to Tracy's house for a potluck dinner and bonn fire in the firepit. RSVP to me to let me know what you are bringing to the PotLuck. If you get there by noon you can drop off your potluck contribution at Tracy's house - otherwise you have to keep it in your cooler until the party. Directions to Tracy's will be given to everyone at the beach.

Does anyone have a volleyball and net? Frisbee? Football? Stuff to make Sand Castles? Other Beach Games?

Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect so we save a large enough area on the beach!

Bodega Dunes Camping and Seafood Festival, Fri-Sat., August 24-25, 2007

Hi All, The Bodega Dunes campground is half a mile north of the town of Bodega Bay, with its entrance on the left, seaward side. North, I say: north. And you are invited to camp out under the stars or clouds, depending on the seaside's weather. The weather inland, at the Festival, will very likely be ten to twenty degrees warmer than the Dunes, so be prepared to dress for warmer temperatures on Saturday.

Bodega Bay Seafood Art & Wine Festival: http://www.winecountryfestivals.com/bodegaseafoodfestival.html

We are equipped with two camping spaces, already paid for, with room for eight persons per space, along with three vehicles per space. Extra vehicles will be parked in the overflow lot and charged five bucks, I think. Anyway, I have three folding chairs to give away to the first three folks who ask for them, so do. I will bring the paper plates and some firewood, you will bring potluck and some more firewood. Wood is always good and is for sale in town, in case you don't have a woodlot on the way to Highway One from your place. Look for blue balloons on the car(s)... See you at the Dunes.
